About the Position:
Provide essential nursing care to patients with diverse medical and mental health needs, following the guidance of Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians.
Monitor vital signs, document patient conditions meticulously, and report changes to RNs.
Assist patients with daily living activities like hygiene, feeding, and dressing.
Administer medications as prescribed, adhering to strict safety protocols.
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures with care and respect.
Gather and document patient information accurately and efficiently.
Foster a positive and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications:
Active LVN license in California.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital or psychiatric setting preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust and rapport with patients.
Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities, seamlessly integrating with the healthcare team.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, prioritizing individual needs and dignity.
BLS certification required.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Familiarity with mental health principles and practices a plus.
