Old Forester 1920
One of the nation's oldest brandy distilleries is Old Forester 1920. It was produced both before and after alcohol consumption was outlawed. That's good to know. While many other distilleries were forced to close, Old Forester was granted one of the few licenses to carry on producing and selling for "medical purposes." It's also claimed that, in order to prevent manipulation, it was the first corporation to bottle whiskey.
