The chromium content in Stainless Steel 317L Star Washers is between 12.25 % and 18 %, with nickel levels of 3 % to 8.5 %. Molybdenum in SS 317L Spring Washers some grades is between 2 % and 3 %, with additions of aluminium, copper, rare earth elements and nitrogen. The martensitic structure results when chromium and higher levels of carbon in SS 317L Wire Spring Washers are added to iron.
